OsTicket

Introduction

This article is released for AWS solution(s),

osTicket: Global Trusted Ticketing System

osTicket is a widely used open source support ticket system. It routes enquiries arriving by email, web form or phone into a single queue, so nothing is lost in an inbox and every request has an owner. It provides customisable help topics and forms, ticket assignment and escalation, service level agreements, canned responses, a knowledge base for customers and agents, and reporting on team workload and response times.

Pre-bundled with this image are

  • osTicket 1.18.4 in Docker (directory listing disabled, database on an isolated internal network, no database port exposed to the internet)
  • AlmaLinux 10: A stable and secure open source operating system.
  • MariaDB 11.4: A robust and scalable database system.
  • PHP 8.2: A modern and efficient scripting language.
  • Apache Web Server: A reliable and widely-used web server.
  • Caddy reverse proxy: handles HTTPS and your free SSL certificate. It sits in front of Apache and owns ports 80 and 443, so your certificate is managed by the proxy and not by Apache.
  • Docker and Docker Compose: the application and its database run as containers, so application updates do not require replacing the instance.

Elyxia Global Limited presents a robust and efficient solution with its pre-configured AMI on AlmaLinux, a trusted and stable platform. This ready-to-deploy package includes a fully configured stack, with any additional charges clearly specified in the pricing information section, ensuring that your business operations are up and running in no time.
