UVdesk: Open Source Helpdesk and Ticketing

UVdesk is an open-source helpdesk built on Symfony. Your agents work a single ticket queue, incoming support mail becomes tickets automatically, and your customers get a public knowledgebase they can search before they write to you. It also integrates with marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Flipkart, Magento, Prestashop and Shopify, so enquiries arriving from several channels land in the same place.
Pre-bundled with this image are

• UVdesk Community 1.1.8 in Docker (database on an isolated internal network with no port exposed to the internet, and the application reachable only through the proxy)
• AlmaLinux 10: A stable and secure open source operating system.
• MariaDB 11.4: A high-performance open source database.
• Apache HTTP Server: serving the application inside the container.
• PHP 8.2: with the mailparse extension UVdesk needs to turn incoming email into tickets.
• Caddy reverse proxy: handles HTTPS and your free SSL certificate, and owns ports 80 and 443.
• Docker and Docker Compose: the application and its database run as containers, so application updates do not require replacing the instance.

 
Your helpdesk is installed and ready when the instance finishes starting. There is no browser setup wizard to walk through. The database, the schema, the support roles and your administrator account are created for you, and the password is shown once, in the summary at the end of installation. Write it down: it is generated for your instance and is not stored anywhere you can read it back.
UVdesk serves two addresses, and it is worth knowing which is which before you start. The plain address is the public support centre your customers see. Your agents sign in at a separate address that carries a language prefix, and the installation summary gives you both in full.
Your ticket attachments and uploaded files are kept separate from the application. They are stored on their own volume, so replacing the application container to take an update does not touch them.
The exact UVdesk version is fixed in the image. It is verified by checksum at build time, so every instance of a given build is running exactly the same code rather than whatever a download link pointed at that day.
