Managing Cockpit

Cockpit (https://cockpit-project.org/) is a web-based graphical interface for servers management and administration. This particular AMI is pre-installed with Cockpit to ease administration. To start using Cockpit, follow the steps below.

• Step 1: Get the Cockpit credentials output from execution of “usr/local/bin/egl_init.sh.x”
• Step 2: Go to http://<your-public-ip>:9090/ and enter the credentials.

• Step 3: You may see “limited access” and may be prompted to authenticate. Click “Turn on administrative access“, key in once again the credential from Step 1.

Uploading File with Cockpit 

• Step 1: Login to Cockpit.
• Step 2: Go to “navigator“.
• Step 3: To upload files to server using Cockpit, simply navigate to your path and just drag-and-drop into the folder.
